Who created blood? Take answers; then suggest that maybe God makes blood.
Ask the students to recall a time when they saw someone hurt. Ask them to tell their stories, then ask them if anyone helped the hurt person.
Do the students think it is important to help people who are hurt?
Ask the kids what we call someone who helps other people (Answer: A Hero!) Helping others is a mitzvah!
Explain a little about how when they grow up they will be able to share their blood with strangers and become heroes! They will be able to help hurt people, just like a hero!
Ask them if they know any heroes.
Ask kids to think of who the very best helper is of all time. Who helps and heals and comforts the most people?
Guide them towards talking about how God is the most incredible hero of all time.
Let the kids pick one of the three images below to color. While they’re coloring, walk around and talk to them about their pictures.
